OZONE Service Program
Successful application of a MARLEYOZONE Water Treatment System requires performance evaluation, maintenance inspections, and occasional service to provide proper water treatment, long equipment life, and optimum water system performance.
Please consult your Maddock Industries sales professional for assistance in selecting necessary options for your system. Every option is not necessary for a system to function well, however, as a minimum, options #I and #IV are strongly recommended for successful operation. When all options are selected you will receive excellent performance and feedback. Seldom will you find other water treatment programs that offer anywhere near as much feedback and evaluation on the entire condenser water system as our full program does.
OZONE Service Program components and options are described as follows:
I. Performance Evaluation & Maintenance Inspection (PEMI)
A MARLEYOZONE system provides water treatment, and regular evaluation is necessary to obtain successful performance of any water treatment system. Our Maintenance Checklist gives a rundown of the items we pay attention to each month for the duration of a PEMI contract. Proper water treatment, long ozone equipment life, proper water system performance, and cooling tower condition all depend on regular maintenance & evaluation of the water treatment system. A PEMI contract will not only provide maintenance to ensure the ozone equipment runs better & lasts longer, it will also provide feedback to verify the level of performance of the entire tower water treatment system.
II. Service
The ozone water treatment system utilizes components with mechanical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic operation. Sometimes, this equipment requires unscheduled service repairs. Service can be covered under contract through the purchase of the Service option, or purchased on an hourly basis as desired. With the purchase of the Service option, no further costs for service labor will be incurred during the duration of the contract.
III. Parts
All required replacement parts for the ozone water treatment system during the duration of the Parts contract are covered under the cost of purchasing this option.
IV. Water Analysis
Water analysis is important to verify proper water quality balance is maintained. Samples of the makeup and circulating waters are tested monthly for seven specific elements to watch the relationship between makeup and circulating waters. A correct balance is necessary to provide good corrosion rates and to prevent scaling. Regular testing will also indicate changes in operation or makeup water quality. This option includes sample bottles, definition labels, shipping, lab fees, and reporting.
V. Remote Monitoring
This option requires the purchase of a Telog Monitoring Unit and allows for review of the operation of the system via telephone line to watch daily conditions. Remote monitoring allows daily feedback of water system condition, it allows trending of water system operation for seasonal performance monitoring and adjusting, it allows remote indication of ozone system failure for dispatch of service personnel, and it serves as a tool for diagnosing water system operational problems and equipment faults.
VI. Corrosion Analyses
Corrosion Analyses (requires corrosion coupon monitoring rack) provides monthly feedback on average mils per year corrosion rates for the water system. Included in the fee are corrosion coupon materials, shipping, cleaning, evaluation, and reporting.
